Robinson Crusoe trekk 7days tour

Day 1 Robinson Crusoe trekk 7 days

We meet at 9:00 AM in Los Cerrillos airport ready for the 10:00 departure for Robinson Crusoe island. We fly 674 kilometers in 3 hours above the Pacific Ocean before aiming at our destination. Afterwards we embark on a 1 1/2 hour motor boat ride around the island arriving at the little town of Juan Bautista located in Cumberland bay. We lunch in a Hosteria and discuss the rest of our itinerary and any other aspects of the trip. Later we explore the town on foot. Overnight at Hosteria. (L, D)

Day 2 Bahia Cumberland- Juan Bautista

In the morning we board fishing boats to take part in a lobster fishing expedition. The enormous lobsters found in Juan Fernández provide the islanders' income. After lunch we explore the native jungle close to town. A day of diving can be organized instead of the above; however all diving excursions must be planned weeks in advance and are not always available. Overnight at Hosteria.(B, L, D)

Day 3 Puerto Frances

At daybreak we go hiking toward Puerto Frances, an old port for pirates. Awaiting our arrival is a delicious lunch on the beach. We camp here for the night. (B, L-, D)

Day 4-5 Playa Larga- Cerro Yunque

After a rich/great breakfast, we pull up camp and explore on foot up to Playa Larga, crossing the dense jungle in this part of the island. In this place we set up camp and have lunch. In the afternoon we enter into this marvellous jungle aiming to Yunque hill and the sector known as the "Rebaje de la Pia" . The next day we continue exploring this zone and the abundant wild life that exists in it. (B, L-, D)

Day 6 Isla Santa Clara

Early in the morning we embark on a motor boat for Santa Clara island, to observe colonies of birds nesting in the island. At night we will enjoy a delicious dinner, including lobsters of course. We camp here. (B, L-, D)

Day 7 Robinson Crusoe- Santiago

At mid-morning we embark for the airfield of the island to depart for Santiago. Transfer to your Hotel. (B)
